Sand Martins Golf Club

What a lovely course. I arrived in the evening hoping to make 18 before the sun went down which I just managed to do. A really friendly club, several members spoke to me on the way round, most apologising that I was playing just after the greens had been treated. I didn't feel it effected play at all but I was really impressed at how proud they all were of the course and they we justified in being so in my opinion. The front 9 is a real contrast to the back which is much like an inland links...

I forgot to add gluten free on my menu choice for the Christmas party but the staff in Sand Martins made the change for me on the night. Thank you very much for looking after me.

The course has a quite interesting layout and both the greens and I found the fairways kept in great condition, especially considering the bad weather we had lately. Matt at the proshop was very friendly and helpful and the two members we played against in the external comp. were very friendly. A very good experience overall.

What a lovely venue to book your function at. Received amazing service from Katrina who co-ordinates their functions with regular updates and nothing was too much trouble in arranging the function. The venue is spotless and very easy to find near to Wokingham. Great atmosphere and service from the staff on the night. Great to see they can get an extended licence as well. 5 star recommendation for a 5 star venue

great golf course a bit wet because of all this rain but greens are super always a pleasure playing here
