  • Fabulous place and a challenging course, love it! G8 course in pristine condition although the tees need tlc. Catering staff was excellent and the history of the club house is definitely worth exploring.

  • I didn't really know what to expect with Royal Lytham, I had been told the club house was impressive and filled with golfing memorabilia and history and this is certainly the case, it feels like you are walking through a mini golf museum albeit with the occasional view out on to the well maintained course from the various rooms positioned off the landing.   • Excellent track, great staff and caddy. Advance notice of shorts not being allowed to be worn in clubhouse would have been nice. Got a photo at Bobby Jones bunker.

  • One of the great experiences in golf, from the course, to the clubhouse ... and also the members who made us very welcome. A slightly more quirky front 9 with great strategy involved, is followed by a slightly more straightforward back 9 where the ball needs to be threaded between the numerous fairway pot bunkers.
