Rossendale Valley Sailing Club

Went here to try out a new canoe. Was on the water no more than 2 mins when somebody representing the club came flying towards us in a speed boat. He then proceeded to tell me to leave the water as it was private members only. There was no option of ‘first time taster session’ Great experience of poor service and narrow minded approach to welcome new members

Fantastic place to walk around the reservoir. Sailing and windsurfing available in normal times, clubhouse with showers very clean. Views stunning.

A drinking water reservoir so the water is clean and free from debris. The clubhouse has good facilities and members can access the changing facilities any day of the week. Brilliant for both windsurfing and dinghy sailing when the wind strength matches your sailing ability.

Great venue, excellent clubhouse. Access all through the year with growing Dinghy Race programme. When the wind builds, great to see so many windsurfers.
