River Cottage

Went with my mum today for lunch - had a wonderful 3 course meal - everything was delicious. The service was fabulous and resident lab Inca was an added bonus. Great thing to do on a rainy day

Great fresh local produce, with a wide variety of British farm fusion dishes. The cafe is a modern building, set just off the road and about a mile above the farmhouse. Kudos to Hugh.

We had the “Seasonal Feast” with our excellent host, Hugh! Really beautiful experience that we both thoroughly enjoyed, we had the chance to ask a few questions, sample the delights cooked by his team, which was just amazing and share the evening amongst some wonderful guests. We are no looking to come again, whilst Hugh made our evening memorable the food tasting experience was just so pleasurable, thank you to all involved.

My partner and I were recently married at RCHQ and we had the most amazing day. We booked the venue for exclusive use with the wedding ceremony onsite. Fortunately the weather was gorgeous as it is predominately 'outside venue' although there was a wet weather plan in place.
