Rimmers Music School Bury

Decent little music shop when it's open but I'm getting tired of driving 4 miles during 'opening hours' only to find it closed. 3 times in around a year now. 🤷‍♂️

I love this shop. It sells a host of beautiful musical instruments, mostly new but some used. The staff are laid back, friendly and very helpful. I can thoroughly recommend the music lessons at this shop both from my own experience and that of friends. If you want lessons go check it out. The first one is free just so you can be sure it's what you're looking for.

Great service! We bought all our sound equipment from them around three years ago. They were helpful in sorting out a mike stand problem for us. Nice range of musical instruments especially guitars and keyboards. I would recommend Rimmers

To be honest not that impressed, I went here this weekend just to pick up some cables as there is limited shops around unless going into manchester and needed a quick fix. I asked for MIDI Cables, and got a blank look and "we dont sell them" err OK. No MIDI Cables in a musical instrument shop, bizarre. Anyway I also needed some instrument cables and was told instantly "err no not much call for them, we dont do that type of thing" the 2 exact cables I needed where hung on the wall behind him, ...

Great local music shop, good prices, has an online option too. Will order most things for you if they don't have them in stock. Offers lessons in piano, singing, drums, guitar, saxophone etc with fantastic teachers.
