Me and my partner went for our first pottery taster session today. We both loved it! Richard was brilliant, patient and friendly. Would definitely recommend! Can’t wait to come back to decorate our bowls!

Excellent teacher, very helpful and we all made 3 items each. Lunch was fantastic, loved the soup.

I came to Richard at very short notice with the aim of creating a body of work for my university interviews. I am thoroughly enjoying my pottery classes, and highly recommend Richard Wilks as a tutor in both ceramics and sculpture. Over the weeks he has taught me many different pottery techniques - from throwing, coil and slab work; to experimenting with different decorating techniques in slip and under-glazes.
