PICK RICHARD! To anyone that knows me, they will know how much stress learning to drive caused me and how much of a journey it’s been. Going from a really poor experience with a previous driving instructor, to covid and not being able to drive at all, to picking up bad habits driving in my own car with a family member, to starting with a new instructor and being very nervous and loosing all of my confidence… practically hating driving and anything to do with it. Completely unprofessional. Would be very pushy to have lessons at ludicrous times like 6am on a Saturday. Would often move lessons at the last minute due to childcare issues. Demanded payment suddenly, when I was seeing him the next day for another lesson and had agreed to pay then. My guess is that this is a side job because money is tight. Having had other instructors who let me just drive around I never really got much from my lessons. Rich was completely different, he explained things well was patient and filled me with confidence. I passed my test first time. If you want an excellent instructor rich is your man.
