Rewilding Coombeshead

We’ve just spent two nights in one of the shepherd’s huts and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The huts are very comfortable and have everything you need. The whole experience was very interesting, learning about the beavers and seeing their effects on the countryside with a very knowledgeable ecologist. We’d definitely recommend a stay here and look forward to returning in the future to see how it is progressing.

we have just spent a fabulous week-end in one of the Shepherd's Huts, and bought in to all the itinerary with two very knowledgeable ecologists Emma and Karen, who showed us the rewilding sites and what they are trying to achieve as well as their breeding programmes of water voles, harvest mice, wild cats and white storks.
