Reubyn Ash Surf School, Widemouth Bay

I had an amazing 1-2-1 surf lesson with Reubyn last week, he was very informative and thorough with his training. We did about 30 mins on the beach then we got in the water and surfed some waves, with his knowledge and advice I went from standing up 1 in every 20 waves on my own before the lesson to standing up almost every wave during the lesson. I would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to learn/improve there surfing. Thanks again mate 👍

I would give 10 stars! We all know the surf schools where you're put in a group of 12 and the instructor stands on the shore making sure nobody drowns. Not with Reubyn Ash! He gives you the full surf experience in and out of the water and teaches you methods you can use and put right to practice. My kids and myself had the best time learning to surf with Reubyn down in Widemouth Bay. He guaranteed that he'd get us all standing on the board by the end of our two sessions - and we all did!! He was experienced, patient and very very skilled at explaining about safety, wave watching, body position and the best technique to get you up on the board. Thoroughly recommend - we'll be back next year!

Kids had such fun they were back the following day for a second lesson this time with dad. Never surfed before, all up on the board and loving it. Both hooked and nagging to do more. Reyban was great, so chilled and easy to understand. Great experience.

My husband and 17 year old son had 2 lessons with Reubyn on Summerleaze Beach, Bude and thoroughly enjoyed them! Reubyn's years of expertise enabled him to give spot-on advice on technique. He also takes time to feedback afterwards on how to improve. We'd highly recommend for anyone!
