  • Nice place, had a whippy ice cream and a bit of a stroll. Lots of geese acting hard but we survived.

  • The club is friendly and open and achieves quite well competitively, but there’s room for all abilities in all age groups. The stretch of Thames is one of the longest outside London and relatively calm with little traffic. The “Learn to Row” course is a must if you want to get into rowing.

  • Good people make you feel welcome great support from team GB amazing team captains , from beginner to professional amazing guidance and a great set up with a long and successful history !!

  • Lovely rowing club but they need to find a faster way of providing competition results - Mikrotime are clearly not fit for purpose.

  • If your a novice or an expert you'll receive a friendly welcome. Learn to Row courses available, RRC is a British Rowing "Start" center if you have aspirations and the talent to be in the GB Rowing Team! Club caters for most age groups and is active in junior, adult and Seniors (Masters) racing. Women are most welcome. Several recent Olympians such as Alex Gregory, MBE and Sam Townsend were members of Reading RC
