Queens Park Golf Course

What a fantastic place, great people and lovely friends. The green's are excellent and one of the best course's I've played.

It is a popular golf course located at the back of the Georges playing field, not far from Simply Gym, can easily be reached on foot from there via ample footpath, or walk across Georges playing field when dry. That does have parking, as does the Gym and the Golf Course itself behind Victoria Avenue alongside the Queens Park also has ample stoney/gravel parking. and the Queens Park plus Georges playing field and Tip Kinders carpark can easily be accessed from the golf course. All is paved.

1st time on this course and loved the experience... Only been playing for 3 months but probably my favourite course so far... And no water hazards so thats a bonus

Played here for the first time in 30 years. The course has matured nicely. Good value at £8 for 9 holes, greens and fairways in good nick for a municipal.

Fairly shocking condition don't think the mowers are working, the fairways and greens are cut but that's about it, there is no kind of first or second cut rough take a bounce off the fairway 2-3 foot into the "rough" you might as well get another ball out, shin deep thick grass looks like a wildflower meadow. I played a few weeks ago and it was vastly different, all cut and playable seems the ground staff are taking some time off 🤷‍♂️
