My cycling buddy and I took a rest here after an early morning start. It was a chance not only for a break but a catch up from our daily lives. What a beautiful spot to do such a thing. Loved the view and the peacefulness. The only regret, next time we'll bring a flask of coffee...

This place is allways full of life weather a meet up with friends all letting the kids run around

I was shocked to find when I got there at 06:15 the mess that has been left behind by some inividuals including the damaged to some grass where a bbq has been used. We've been given this privilege to use such a well kept park by the authorities and the people that run the cricket club that why would these individuals just get up from where they have been sitting and choose to leave their food wrappers,bottles and beer cans on the lawn for someone else to pick up. The mud didn't bring our spirits down! Lots of tree cutting happening at the top of the road. Temporary traffic lights in place.🚦

Nice park has lots going on like bowls for the elderly has a good small child's playground and a big field that's used for cricket games in season football in season and a good tennis courts that's fenced in properly and is on ashfelt so can be used in all weather conditions also has adequate parking.
