Overview

All employees should be aware of and knowledgeable about health and safety in the workplace.

This course is ideal for all staff and employees at all levels, providing them with the underpinning health and safety knowledge that they will require to work safely and efficiently on a daily basis.

This training will equip employees with the measures necessary to control or reduce risks to the health and/or safety of anyone who might be affected by the activities of anyone at work.

What will I learn on this course?

• The main hazards and risks to health and safety at work, how they are controlled, and your part in helping to control them
• The responsibilities of employers and employees under health and safety legislation
• The importance of, and the key factors in, risk assessments to control hazards and prevent risks
• The hazards and ill-health effects associated with specific work activities and processes, and the key controls to remove or reduce these risks so that they do not cause harm

Certification

Successful candidates will receive certification of achievement.
