End of Life Care

This course will explore ways to support and enhance the quality of care provided to the individual approaching end of life, their families and their carers. 

Course Aims:

• To look at providing high quality end of life care
• Terminology in End-of-Life Care
• Awareness of a care worker’s role and response
• Changes in conditions and dealing with signs and symptoms
• Accessing support and multi-agency working
• Dealing with difficult situations and communication
• Recognising the final stages of dying
