Preston Golf Club

I’ve played this course many times the last few years and always enjoyed it as a visitor. However today left me disappointed. Yesterday we played Accrington as visitors and were astounded how good the course was after the heavy rain the day before. Preston had 24 hours longer to dry and was claggy, there’s lots of bald patches round the greens and to say it’s winter conditions (so mats, winter tees, etc.) it was £35 which included a discount for county card. £35 was a lot for the condition o...

I was stuck for something to do with kids during half term. We went to the golf club driving range. Feeling a bit of a fraud, I went in, and the staff were really friendly, knowing we were complete novices and gave us advice. It felt like a real professional setup with computerised distance measuring equipment so you can tell instantly see how well you are striking the ball. Great facilities we all had fun.

For a game in October the course was in great condition. Nice touch after the game too....a free pork pie with every pint 👌 🏆

Loved it, greens are the trickiest and fastest I've played all year. Course was in fantastic condition will definitely play again.

Outstanding course in great condition. Plenty of tee shots to make u think. Most definitely come back to play
