Potomac Boat House - Gothic Folly

Now derelict, the Potomac boat house gothic folly has a kind of charm to it. Renovation would most likely be very expensive.

This is a beautiful hidden gem that makes a great photo op. It doesn't seem like it would be in this park but photos of it are a little deceiving. It looks so secluded and rustic, but just outside the photo there is scaffolding and tall buildings. I don't think you can access the pond anymore because it's fenced off and chained shut. What a shame! Through the fence it was really beautiful. Maybe it's just closed temporarily.
