  • Stunning location on the Lochside. We stayed in one of the apartments facing the loch - incredible view. Plenty of space for the 2 of us and the apartment clean and in good order. Big comfy bed. Staff almost all very friendly (one man on reception was not!). They make great pizzas and the veg curry was excellent. All in all we had a great stay. Stayed twice before and will be back again I'm sure.....

  • Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and fount it to be the perfect getaway we needed. The apartment was perfect from the view to amenities and cleanliness with modern fixings etc. The main hotel was warm and welcoming with period features, log fires in the bar and lounge and presentable eating areas where we enjoyed faultless meals and breakfast. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome and also advised us on places to visit and information on the area. Overall a relaxing ...

Clearly a very haphazard job of cleaning before we arrived with floors left dirty, hot tub filthy and half full and no power on arrival with no help to get back up and running. Broken furniture, flooring and a generally tired looking feel to the whole place. Decking plain dangerous and super slippery and even managed to find cigarette ends in the BB...

Our room in the coachhouse building didn’t really have a view but it didn’t in any way spoil it. Views from the hotel and patio absolutely magical. Our two Border Terriers were made very welcome which is important to us. Staff always had a greeting for them and a wee dog treat. The meals were delicious and plenty of choice. This wee hotel is indeed a little corner of tranquil heav...

  • Down a narrow road next to the loch, we were just on a drive out and found this place. It seemed like a good time to stop for a drink, so popped in. It's a great old building with lovely period features and views over the water. Nice drinks and snacks in the bar. Enjoyed a relaxed drink taking in the views, then headed off.
