This was my first experience riding with a cycle club, and after the warm welcome I received today at Portsmouth North End, I was left wondering why had it taken me so long to join one of their Come & Try social rides? On arrival, I was introduced to current members who made me feel very much included. Everyone was very friendly, passionate about cycling, and above all, up for having a good time. So if you are thinking about giving it a try, go for it! You won't be disappointed!

I attended a come and try ride with the club. It was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, encouraging and reassuring. They gave me some tips on riding technique, and the ride itself went through beautiful countryside. We ended up for a social coffee and cake, I was so proud that I joined, after initially feeling a little nervous. I definitely intend to join the club now! I recommend you give it a try, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

I've been riding for a couple of years but only ever dared ventured out on my own. I was looking a new experience so signed up for a 'Come and Try It Ride'. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the get go. All of us newbies were well looked after on the ride and I never had any concerns.
