Pipsticks Walks

I participated in one of Philippa’s Navigation Essentials courses around Nuffield in the Chilterns. It was a valuable experience. Philippa is really knowledgeable about many things! All my colleagues from Visorando should go on one of those courses to add real UK map reading to their skillset. Thank you for your patience, positive mindset, and love for hiking the world.

Pippa has lots of great ideas for teaching you about the world around you. She's also friendly and approachable.

I recently had a couple of beginners lessons with Philippa and thoroughly enjoyed it. Philippa is very knowledgeable about Nordic Walking and teaches in a step by step manner, is enthusiastic, encouraging and patient. I'd like to thank her for her time and recommend anyone wanting to try Nordic Walking to get on contact with her. It worked for me as I'll be buying my own poles....

We had an absolutely amazing walk in Goring, one of the most gorgeous places. Even the heavy rain did not ruin the day. Phillipa is a very knowledgeable guide. She brought my attention to things I had never seen or thought of before and I would definitely book another walk! I highly recommend to anyone who is interested in local history as well as loves exploring nature!

Pipsticks provide a good range of friendly Nordic Walks that are all well organised and lead. An added bonus is Philippa sharing her knowledge of local flora, fauna and history of the area as you walk. Her trail walks on Saturdays especially are a great way to build up fitness levels on longer, beautiful scenic walks. Highly recommend.
