Phoenix Rugby Football Club

Proper community club. Homely & friendly. Running two teams in a town that's still somehow managing to support 4 clubs despite a major population demographic shift and very few schools playing rugby. Keep up the good work guys and gals!

Great club very much got a family vibs with open doors to all. Kids love it here.

Great rugby club on and off the pitch, everybody is made to feel welcome. Training sessions are really good and lots of social events throughout the season.

Very family oriented rugby club for all ages - great clubhouse with cheap beer and have regular gatherings to see live games - Xmas - Halloween - Six Nations - you name it. Friendly players with a storming work ethic keeping their first team at the top of the league. Marvellous place.

A wonderful, family-orientated rugby union club with fantastic facilities. The year I spent playing as a Phoenix player whilst on industrial placement from university was arguably my most enjoyable season as a rugby union player. The club as a whole welcomed me warmly (even if I was a northern monkey)! Everybody at the club was more than happy to help me whilst being away from home and the close comradery between players and coaches allowed me to prosper at the club! I would highly recommend ...
