Improvers 6 week Pottery Course

If you’ve caught the pottery bug from our 6 week beginners course or you have a little pottery experience from elsewhere our Improvers 6 week classes are ideal to continue on your pottery journey. Building on the foundation skills covered in the Beginners classes this next series of workshops will refine your hand building skills. You’ll create more technical forms pushing your confidence and gaining more understanding in using clay. This will be along side further surface decoration and glazing skills, broadening your full knowledge of the ceramic process. Your work from each class will be fired and a collection of completed pieces will be glazed fired and ready to collect a 2/3 weeks after your last class.

These classes will run on a rolling basis, every Wednesday evening from 7-9.30pm. If you feel you’d love to continue your pottery journey but would like to refine your Improvers skills before stepping onto the next level we rotate the making projects every 6 weeks. So if you take the following 6 weeks classes after your first we will rotate the projects and you get the opportunity to create a different collection of work.
