Philip Green Approved Driving Instructor

Phil was very very informative on our lessons, and took me from a beginner to road confident very quickly. He was great at correcting my mistakes in a constructive and gentle way, and I never felt too overwhelmed or upset when I did make mistakes, which was my main worry coming into learning to drive. I passed with 2 minors and the test felt easy after the lessons I had with Phil, and I will remember the information / techniques I learned in these lessons for the rest of my life.

Before taking lessons with Phil my daughter had failed my driving test 5 times with quite a few majors and minors. She started lessons with Phil in November 2022. It’s now January 2023 and she passed the driving test with only 4 minors. He’s an excellent driving instructor and really helped correct her bad driving habits and become confident but safe on the roads.

I learnt to drive with Phil and passed my test first time. I really appreciate his calm teaching style, patience, punctuality and attention to detail. Lessons always felt relaxed; this put me at ease and meant it was easier to learn from inevitable mistakes. I also felt a lot of encouragement and genuine investment in my progress as a driver, which helped me grow in confidence. Phil is an excellent and thorough instructor and I can’t recommend him enough! I had failed my test a few times before taking lessons with Phil and was nervous as I was used to driving abroad on the other side of the road. Phil’s back to basics and patient instruction equipped me with the confidence I needed to finally pass my test! Phil is an excellent driving instructor, he's got a very calm relaxing demeanour, at no point in any of my lessons did he ever raise his voice. His instruction was always clear and concise and he doesn't overload you with information. Phil was always punctual for lessons and never once late. His car is also a dream to drive and very forgiving. I passed my test today in my own car with only 1 minor and I couldn't have done it without the expert help from Phil.
