Philip Driving School - Reading

Amazing instructor! Did lots of lessons with him last year but due to covid I stopped but got back into it year and half later and did around 9 lessons and passed my driving test first time. Recommend who lives in Whitley, Reading and looking for an automatic instructor. Also good price for lessons!

I really didn’t want to leave a review however I don’t want another potentially great driver who may lack a bit of confidence on the road to waste their money. I went to a different driving instructor for my last 6 hours before my test and I can say that I passed my test first time , if I had stayed with Phillip driving school I’m not sure what the outcome would have been. Absolutely fantastic driving instructor for manual lesson or automatic. The instructors availability is also very convenient. All in all, great instructor.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. He canceled my driving test with due notice, yes. However, I didn't believe the excuse he gave me saying that I may fail bla bla and that someone dumped the car somewhere. He didn't ask to reschedule the test or anything, saying that I should find someone else. 3 months pass and I passed my driving test first time with only 5 minors with another local instructor.
