Highly recommend Matt Powell’s karate lessons. Matt is amazing with the children with every child recognised and encouraged, lessons are fun and interactive. My little boy has learnt so much already and absolutely loves his Karate lessons with Matt.

Sensei Matt combines the perfect balance of discipline and fun for our two children (ages 6 and 8). They started karate 6 months ago and it is the highlight of their week. The fact that the class includes adults and children (although they split off into separate groups) creates a very supportive atmosphere which we hope our children will enjoy for many years to come. Thank you, Matt!

My son and I started karate with Matt and the team last year and the sessions are now a highlight of our week. Senseis Matt and Wayne made us feel like part of the club from day one, both teaching with patience and an infectious enthusiasm. We’re very much enjoying the journey.

Matt is so professional, supportive and knowledgeable, and helps the little ones learn in a way they really understand. The sessions are fun. I want to do it! My daughter has been going to Matt for about 6 months now. To say she loves it would be an understatement. She is 9 and ask’s daily “how many more days till Karate”. Matt teaches the children in a way that keeps them engaged and at a level they can all understand.
