Pennine Trout Fly Fishery

Great Fishery Trout 3lb + average stamp of 4lb to 7lb with daily double figure fish being landed I've landed a few myself. Tea, coffee, tackle & snacks from cabin ample parking clean toilets extremely well stocked & tidy water great fighting healthy fish.Still visiting regularly & still the best. Awesome day today loads of fish 👍👍👍

I haven't been fly fishing long so first time at Pennine, really enjoyed it, I caught a couple of rainbows got my personal best 6½lbs. 🎣

Two small lakes. Well stocked and clearly well managed. I got told off for mishandling a caught fish in the heat of the moment. Justified and I apologized, but it took the edge off my enjoyment.

Very well stocked reservoir with quality trout. There is a tackle shop and a cafe. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and very happy to help. You have options for sport fishing or to take away your catch.Easy parking and two pools to fish. Booking beforehand is recommended especially at weekend.

Well run fishery. Plenty of fish and some good size ones too. Although a small water and well stocked you still have to catch them but a good place to get some practice and a bend in your rod after a cold winter. Toilets and hot drinks/pies on site. The chippy on the way there ie excellent. The brownie weighed 3lb 4oz.
