Paul Yates Guitar Lessons

I'm a few lessons in and enjoying the progress I'm making. EDIT. It's been over a year now and the lessons are still going well. Paul's lessons are relaxed and he's happy to tailor them to keep me learning and enjoying the process.

Guitar I have tried to master the guitar for many years and not really achieved much but since taking tuition from Paul I have learnt a great deal. He is a very good teacher and structures the lessons to the style you wish to learn.  He prepares lessons in advance based on the student's progress whilst keeping the student motivated. If you are not satisfied with your guitar playing and it is going nowhere I would recommend you get in touch with Paul.

As a 50 something who has picked up a guitar in the last 2-3 years I was stumbling along using YouTube for guidance, I was nervous to try lessons at first but Paul put me at ease right from the start and I have improved and gained in confidence over the last few months, each week I am challenged to try something I wouldn’t have done on my own. Paul is calm and a great teacher and I would recommend him to all abilities who want to improve.

Paul is a great teacher, he's super patient and helps you to stay motivated. Learning guitar didn't always come easy to me but he always helped me to build confidence or we would try a different approach. I had lessons for a few years and it really helped me gain confidence while having fun in the process.

I first had lessons with Paul as a teenager who didn’t even know how to hold a guitar. He ensured that I learned steadily but properly at a pace comfortable for me - firstly learning the chords that would serve me as a songwriter in my adulthood. He always took an interest in the styles of music I liked to play, and carefully wrote down the tabs so I could practice at home. He has the patience of a saint and is extremely skilled.
