Park Golf Club

The course has been miserably neglected. Fairways unmown and covered in daisies. Greens awful. Almost certainly the worst course in Merseyside. Very sad!

The course is in ok condition , tee boxes and greens need a bit of work , fairways are decent, some of the heavier rough has been cut back which is good , disappointed that the clubhouse is members only and got stuck behind a four ball with only three sets of clubs between them

Green bunch of guys. Staff very helpful, Golf course in reasonable condition. Definitely worth a go.

This club is very cliquey and is not run in a friendly fashion. As a result it's gone down from a membership of 300 or so when I was there to about 80. The alt golf club is a better option if you're looking for a first club to join although the general maintenance of the Southport golf links is such that you would be better looking and travelling further afield.

Great course adjacent to the sea. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and patrons. 100% recommend if you have a spare 2.5 hours in Southport.
