Parent Power

We provide educational and informational services to support families and the professionals who work with young people and families. We believe that families are central to having halthy society and parents are key to helping young people thrive. All of our programmes are designed with the future of the child in mind.Our vision is to champion the work of parenting as a force for better outcomes for children and young people. We want the next generation to have the character, confidence and skills to lead healthy, fulfilling and productive lives. We want our young people to have a good childhood now so that they can have great adulthood. To forge relationships and feel they belong to their community and feel connected to the global community. To feel empowered to care for the world and take on responsibilities and make contributions towards a prosperous and socially just society. We believe parents play a big part in making this happen. This means parents, and those that have a responsibility for children, should be supported because good parenting is the bedrock to building a healthy, thriving society. At Parent Power, our projects, programmes and events are designed to support parents and carers but at the centre of the design is the child. That's why at Parent Power, we say 'it's all about the child'.
