Paragon School Of Furniture Restoration

Paragon Restoration is a friendly way to learn how to restore, well basically anything in wood, but mostly furniture. Tutored by Matt, an encouraging and incredibly knowledgeable chap (there's probably nothing about wood he doesn't know) tired, damaged old pieces bloom into life & beauty again. Super, spacious workshop in historic ancient Thaxted. Try it, I did and I'm in my 3rd year now!

I did the 5 day french polishing course at Paragon. It was extremely well organised and the tuition from Matt was excellent and he created a very enjoyable and friendly environment in which to learn. I met a great bunch of people and had a very productive week learning new skills. I would definitely recommend this course and all the helpful staff at Paragon.
