Brought the kids for Dynamos cricket, chucked it down but they still loved it! Great club and great ground

Always a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and beautiful ground a very pleasant clubhouse.

On the very perimeter of Newstead Abbey Park - indeed if cycling or on foot it is a way in without paying for entrance (maybe not larger mountain bikes though, the gateway is very narrow). The cricket ground is nice and sheltered, all levels are played. On a good day it is a joy to take a seat, flask of tea and a newspaper. There is a bar open on match days, not sure if non members can purchase though, I haven't tried.

I love it at Papplewick CC. It is a beautiful ground, in the middle of nowhere. It is peaceful but everyone who plays and socialises there is friendly and helpful. My son has joined the junior teams and loves it.
