  • This place is good for golf. Lots of parking. Every third Thursday of each month is Big Band evening. Where good music and dance happens.

  • A cracking course. The greens were as good as you could ever hope for, as pure and fast as I've seen at top rated courses. Some really great holes, the course really uses the tapograhy well with some of the par 4s starting from elevated tee boxes requiring accuracy off the tee. Its not the longest course and the front 9 felt quite easy but the back nine showed me its teeth on the way in and put me back in place.   • Cholsey Golf Society recently visited Oxford GC (20th Oct) - it's one of our favourite venues having played there on numerous occasions over the past 22 years - and as usually, it was again, a thoroughly enjoyable day. The golf was a bit up and down (as they say) - Winner achieved 43pts but at the other end, the wooden spoon winner had just 19 pts (stableford).   • To quality course, with a lot of variety in each fairway. The greens are a brilliant, (even in the rain) run very true, all you've got to do is pick the right line and speed, easy as that, lol
