We were traveling around the area and hadn’t booked anywhere to stay. We rang very last minute on a Saturday evening and Nancy was so accommodating! She greeted us with tea and homemade cake, had wonderful recommendations around the area and many stories about the history of the house and farm. Absolutely amazing! the friendliest host I've ever encountered. Delicious home-made cookies in the room, home made elderflour squash in the sun in the garden. Really looking forward to my breakfast. I came here for business, but would definately come back for a private vacation.

Not a bad word to say. My van couldn’t get up the hill, due to the snow, a lift was arranged from and to my van. Food was amazing, the room was perfect and it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and hope to return sometime.
