Ormskirk Shotokan Karate Club

Excellent long established club . Teaches traditional shotokan. Adult classes welcoming beginners across the age groups. They have taken me from a beginner with no sporting background through to black belt.

I have been training at Ormskirk Karate club for just over 1 year under 6th Dan Sensei John Errington. Although I practice Jujistu as well, Karate gives much more, hand speed, coordination, Accuracy, reaction speed and attacking speed. I would not do with out this Martial art in my tool box again a knife attack. I would highly recommend karate as an Emty Hand fight system.

The session was fine just when messaging the founder of the karate school no reply is given and I asked about the cost of the grades and what the founder John had said there was no reply back so I doubt I will be returning to the lessons Think I will be finding another group to join

I have trained with this club for the last 7 years and I can say, hand on heart, that it is an amazing club with some of the best teachers you will ever meet. Sensei Errington has been training for 50+ years, and it shows. If he doesn't know something about Shotokan karate, it's not worth knowing.
