After playing for half a dozen rugby clubs when I first moved to Bristol I am confident that Old Bristolians are the best of a bad bunch. Don't bother shopping around like me, you'll be satisfactorily underwhelmed as a player and/or spectator at OB's, as I have for the last 6 years. Five stars, highly recommended.

Upon arrival from the distant land of London, I was approached by many clubs announcing themselves to be amongst ‘the best’ ‘the friendliest’ ‘the best coached’ ‘the most fun’ clubs in Bristol. Old Bristolians not only ticks all of these boxes, but also boasts ‘the best pudding club in the region, possibly the country’. I'm not sure there are many clubs in Bristol that have such a good spread of teams- 1s, 2s, 3s, Vets, Ladies, and a massive mini & junior section for boys and girls. Something for everyone and every ability.

The most friendly, welcoming rugby club in Bristol. When I first moved here, I was looking for a rugby club near me and tried out several others first, but when you get to Old Bristolians RFC, you know it’s the perfect choice. Whatever your level, there’s a side for everyone and the social atmosphere is incredible.
