Oddity Theatre & Music

Both of my daughters needed new piano teachers during and after lockdown. For various reasons they had both lost a bit of interest and I was keen to reignite their passion for playing. Luke was absolutely the right person for the job! They have been playing and loving it again and hearing the house full of lovely songs is a joy. He is patient, kind and easy going which helps them relax and enjoy their music again

My son has been having lessons with Luke for many years. He loves Luke’s flexibility in what they cover in the lessons from the theory which goes alongside the practice, to the music he learns. Luke finds challenging pieces which are enjoyable to learn and is receptive to my son’s suggestions and finds versions at an appropriate skill level. My daughter loves her piano lessons with Luke. His kind, supportive and encouraging approach has given her confidence and she's progressing really well. Very lucky to have had him teaching in her primary school and will continue with Luke into secondary school too.

My son has as being going to Luke for some time now. He enjoys his lessons and never complains about going. He likes learning new songs and has come on a long way since he started. Luke is lovely and shows lots of patience with beginners.

I have been taking piano lessons with Luke for a over two years. He has always made the theory and the practical teaching interesting and fun but at the same time challenging. This encourages me to learn and perform at my best, in lessons, following a week’s practice.
