Oban Sailing Club

A stunning place to take a walk South of the town centre on the Gallenach Road. Here you can sit on the grassy backs overlooking the yacht club and look out across the Sound of Kerrera towards Mull & Lismore.

Excellent sturdy visitors moorings, fab location at a great price.

Great. Convenient and i always feel welcome. It's a little inconvenient having to shackle my anchor chain to the rizer chain but if I bring in the riser chain to the deck it stains with rust. A rope with splice would be nice. This is not a complaint just an observation. Thanks to the oban bay community berthing. Cheers from Bacchus

Great place to do some water sports, yachts will go out on Tuesday evenings with the racing starting at 7pm and dinghy sailing on Thursday nights starting at 7pm too all welcome 👍🏽 This runs from April till August. If you want to sail get in touch with the club, definitely recommend it.
