Nqy Surf School

My daughter and I had a beginner’s lesson - Dale made it great fun, which made it even more worth it; brilliant family holiday activity!

Had so much fun learning to surf at NQY! We were total beginners (I've never surfed before) and we got lessons from Greg who was super patient, very knowledgable and a great instructor. Not only did he explain everything really well but was also able to spot what we needed to tweak to help us progress. Greg and the rest of the team also helped us feel really welcome and at ease as soon as we arrived. Would highly recommend it and we're already looking to book another trip back!

Amazing little surf school - more like a community than a business with its cafe next door and events to which they'll invite you. The coaches are superb - kind, encouraging and supportive as well as technically excellent. As it's the only surf school on the beach there's always plenty of space and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It's also handily close to the train station and town centre, so ideal for a daytrip down to Newquay. Thanks guys, I learned so much!

Had a great time with NQY Surf School, would highly recommend them! We had Dale who is an absolute champion, took us surfing and coasteering. Everyone in the group had a fantastic time thanks to NQY SS Team, who were friendly, approachable, up for a good laugh and gave us guidance to check out whilst we were visiting Newquay. Will be back soon!

Had a great Easter weekend learning to surf at NQY Surf School. Dale was a great instructor who made the basics simple, and helped each member of the class progress at their own pace. Several of us came back for a second or third lesson. Would highly recommend checking them out!
