North London Wine School

I recently finished the 8-week wine course with Beth at the North London Wine school. Each week we focused on a new region tasting six different wines. I learnt a lot about the winemaking process and discovered new varieties that I would never have bought on my own. I would recommend the course to anyone looking to broaden their knowledge and buying preferences of wine. I particularly loved guessing the wine aromas from the wine kit each week.

Have just done a Saturday wine tasting with champagne and lunch at the North London Wine School. I'm not a wine aficionado but have always wanted to know more about different types of wine, and the differences between them. Which I certainly got from this day's wine tasting. We were a small group that particular day, so there was a nice friendly atmosphere. I just finished the 8 week wine tasting course. For a complete novice it was a great way to get started on an education in wine. In addition to being incredibly educational about the whole wine-making and wine-drinking processes, it was just plain old fun! Heidi was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and entertaining, would definitely recommend!

I have attended the 8 week course on world wines with Heidi. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it as Heidi is very prepared on the subject and lots of fun! We tasted over 50 wines, discussing everything wine related. I am looking forward to other courses with her at the North London Wine School!

I would highly recommended anyone who would like to learn about wine to take classes at North London Wine School. Heidi is a great teacher and communicator. For her students she delivers over and above: emails with recommendations, lecture notes, wine and travel advises. My boyfriend and I have completed Introduction to Wine (8 weeks) course, and absolutely loved it. We are coming back in September to complete WSET Level 2 courses.
