Niddry Castle Golf Club

Well worth a visit.. very friendly hard working staff .. the woman literally does everything.. some interesting holes and some brutal ones ... Was very windy so increased the brutality.. a must play even if just the once ..

Very pleasant. Reasonably priced and welcoming. Some lovely holes and a couple of tough, lengthy par 4s on the back 9. The castle itself is beautiful and also helps give visitors their bearings. Great views out to the Pentlands to the south and course in great condition given the time of year and the recent rainfall.

Weren’t given any prior notice to the fact the course was getting maintenance. Greens were in horrible condition. Most holes having a hole in the middle of the fairway with no ability to putt causing some par 3s to be only 50 yards long. Much better courses in terms of value for money around the Lothian’s area.
