Very friendly members. Great game of bowls.

Friendly welcome from the bar staff. Clean and tidy with plenty of seating inside and out. Cheap drinks compared to other venues in Newtown (Carling, Strongbow, Worthingtons, Guinness on draft with a wide choice of bottled beer, cider, lager and soft drinks in the fridge and a good variety of spirits to enjoy). 2 x pool tables, 3 x snooker, 2 x dart boards plus lawn bowls between May and September. Well worth a visit if you are in the area of Newtown.

Newtown Bowling Club is a friendly place to have a beer & socialize. They have 3 full size snooker tables, 1 pool table, 2 dart boards within the club. There is also a large kitchen & 2 function rooms which are available for use. Importantly the club has excellent bowling facilities (currently 10 outdoor rinks) and they are always ready to welcome new members who can come and try the bowling out, it's free for the first season.
