Newbiggin Golf Club

Nice, interesting links course in good nick for February. Very friendly welcome from all. Played it in 65mph winds, which was tough. Would come back to try in calmer conditions

What a beautiful place with a spectacular view, the people in the golf club, were ever so kind to a couple of perfect strangers. We had been walking a little way, when, as you do, you need to spend a penny, no public toilets to be seen anywhere. So, in desperation, I kindly asked if we could visit there toilets. They even took us inside, asked if we would like a warm drink. Such lovely people. Made our day. Thank you so much. Mrs, Susan Smith.

Great golfing day out ruined by the amount of pitch marks on the greens. Update* Members now fixing pitch marks, well, less can be found on the greens at least which 'massively' improves my enjoyment of the game.

Nice affordable course

Absolutely gorgeous links course. Always in great condition, some of the best greens I have ever played. Friendly staff and members and a nice clubhouse with decent food for before and after your round.
