  • My day with Chris learning the various techniques for preparing and cooking different meats was fantastic. His knowledge and enthusiasm is second to none and if I can remember a half of the things that he taught me, I will be extremely well pleased. I am looking forward to attending another course some time soon. Highly recommended.

  • Attended knife skills course. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Chris is an excellent teacher and extensively demonstrated how to prepare all types of food to a professional standard. We also made;-delicious chicken soup from stock, vegetables, pasta and chicken which he teaches how to bone, ratatouille with a Moroccan twist and an excellent salad of vegetables and fruit with a delicious dressing. He is also a really nice person. Thank you Chris

  • Attended the chocolate course today which was fantastic - lots of skills learnt and impressive looking desserts. I attended the pastry course 4 years ago and both courses are brilliant- highly recommended

  • My husband and I visited the cookery school today to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Chris and I had met and designed a special day full of taster recipes, tapas, world food and pudds. It's safe to say we've had a fantastic day and really enjoyed learning new skills and then having the food served for us to dine prior to leaving. The quails eggs scotch eggs were to die for.   • I have just finished a fantastic fish course with Chris at New Farm Cookery School. I was lucky enough to learn 1-2-1 with Chris as we went through knife skills then fish filleting and preparation. We used numerous fish cooking methods including poaching, sautéing, baking and deep frying, and I learned a great deal about matching flavours and creating marinades, sauces and dips. Chris makes you feel very much at home and I ended the day by eating the wonderful fish dishes that we had prepar...
