About My Mighty Mind

Have you ever thought about the science of resilience? I never had until I needed to when mine was on the floor. It seems I am not alone – so many of the adults I now welcome to my workshops may know about some fundamentals of neuroscience but have never linked it all together to see how it drives resilience, mindset and mental health. Have you come across complex explanations and techniques to try and manage your resilience? I learnt loads of them – none of which I could bring front of my mind in those moments of stress. How to develop those soft skills which matter to your every day happy can all get very over-complicated. Do you think some people are just naturally resilient? It’s a common assumption, but it turns out we are all fundamentally pre programmed in the same way – whether you are a child or an adult. The reality is it is what we choose to do in our brains which makes all the difference. TAME YOUR ANIMAL BRAIN explains the SCIENCE of resilience in a SIMPLE and UNIVERSALLY relevant way, so you can understand the link between your thoughts, emotions and actions, those of all the people you care about and everyone else you come into contact with too. You will learn all the skills you wish you had all learned at school, and you will be able to can take them home to your family too with a tool kit to continue building your resilience.
