Murcar Links Golf Club

Played on 22nd December. Friendly staff, and good practice facilities, then on to the course. Although fairway mats were in use, which is totally understandable at this time of year, course was interesting and challenging and still on summer greens which were excellent. A fantastic overall experience which I hope to repeat in the future.

No matter what time of year you play , the course is in great condition. The staff make you feel most welcome, and the green staff make it ever more enjoyable by placing pins in hard to get places - like on the green 😀.

We came up to Aberdeen to play a 3 day open encompassing Cruden Bay, Trump and Royal Aberdeen. We had a late flight the next day so decided to give Murcar a try, having seen it from Royal Aberdeen. We’re so glad we did. What an amazing course. Really stunning holes, quite tight in places. But massively enjoyed it. The greens were the best we played on the trip. North of Aberdeen today with some time to spare so I went to have a look at Murcar Links. Never been before and even though I wasn’t playing I was made very welcome both in the clubhouse and by the resident professional. Members were friendly and the food was excellent. I will definitely come back to play as the course looked excellent. A very positive experience.
