Moor Allerton Golf Club

Visited yesterday with a society. The bottom line is that the course should not have been open with many of the fairways being in an extremely wet and muddy condition- it surely cannot have been good for the course to have golfers paddling up the turf. Add to this that we had booked coffee and a sausage sandwich but no-one had informed the caterers and these had to be hurriedly put together. Played 27 holes yesterday. wow what a great course. Brilliant condition all over. Friendly members and friendly staff. Fantastic challenging course. Cant wait to visit again

I recently had my wedding at Moorallerton Golf Club which was made to be the most perfect day thanks to the communication of the events manager (Paul), food, waiting staff and all other aspects of the day. The place has a warm and friendly feel to it mostly due to the staff. From beginning to end I/we had a great experience, I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Superb course in fine condition. A nice mixture of holes with a fair bit of danger which causes you to think your way around. Great facilities. Would definitely love to visit again.

I liked the course but the greens were a bit of a let down. I was expecting a sleek, true role, but they were bumpy uneven cut.
