I am so happy that I changed my 12-year old son’s guitar teacher from a school-based one to Matt. His confidence has improved no end and he now practices because he wants to, not because I nag him to. He looks forward to his lessons and his playing is getting better every week. I’ve heard Matt described as a legend and we would both have to agree!

Matt teachers my daughter to play piano- he is great with her & has learnt what is the best way to teach her so she understands & responds. He has the knowledge to try many different approaches & tailors his approach according to his student which then gets the best out of them. He is always very accommodating around lesson times & any amendments we need to make. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matt to anyone looking for a music teacher

My son has been learning guitar with Matt for over a year now and he loves it. Matt has a great way of engaging him and we’ve seen great progress in playing guitar as a result. Matt has been working with my son Harry for a couple of years and was very quick to strike up a great relationship as both a music teacher and role model... Harry as a result has stuck by drumming and with Matt's guidance and coaching is now passing his grades with great results. I don't think you could ask for a better or more dedicated music teacher, so much so my step daughter now also learns keyboards and equally enjoys learning with Matt.
