About Miss Vidler IT Our consultant Rachel Vidler is a qualified Primary school teacher, with a wealth of experience in both teaching and technology. Her teaching and ability to engage and inspire children through the use of technology, has been recognised, with her winning the prestigious Most Inspirational Teacher of the Year 2018 award. Her previous career in primary schools allows her to give support and guidance from all aspects of the profession, as she has been as a teacher, a coach and mentor, a member of senior leadership and a member of the governing body. She holds a first-class BEd (Hons) degree with QTS, alongside her NPQML qualification. Rachel was one of the first teachers to complete the DfE Subject Leader Expert qualification in 2015, working as an SLE for computing across the county. She now supports STEM Learning and the National Centre for Computing Education as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), working with schools across the East Midlands, East of England and East and South Yorkshire. Rachel also works alongside the NCCE nationally, as a Facilitator for their Teach Computing Primary Courses. Rachel proudly supports the Denbigh School Computing Hub working as their Primary Lead for Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire. She works alongside the Hub Lead to support schools in the area, boosting engagement in computing and hosting CPD for teachers.
