Mickleover Golf Club

Lovely golf course, really makes you think,tree lined fairways and being autumn the colour of the trees are beautiful. Food after the game was very good.

Only one observation. We had a first class steak pie, chips & peas for a post- round meal. Naturally, I asked our waitress if they'd any Hendo's. To her personal credit she'd heard of it and went to the kitchen to see if they had any. Sadly, they didn't. Too far south, I suppose. Otherwise, the course was in good condition considering the recent heatwave with the greens being true and fair. There was also a fair bit of welcome work put in by the starter and course marshals.

Newly decorated Club house and is bright and airy with a contemporary feel. Nice area to sit and relax with a drink. Food is really nice too and good value for money. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Drop in if passing.

The golf club has had a make-over in the past few months and it's now looking superb! They have still got the best catering, though, as well as the fabulous bar manager and her staff, who give everyone a warm welcome. They also provide a great venue for private functions too!

Our first time as visiting Society & all 28 of us with nothing but praise, from initial booking and communication closer to our date on course updates/conditions and the day itself. Course in very good condition on all aspects, a very warm welcome both on and off the course, with great service & food quality in lovely clubhouse. already making plans for return.
