As a complete beginner, I really like Michael's teaching style. He explains everything very clearly, patiently, and in a highly personalised way. He tries to understand my interests, as well as my preferences when it comes to theory vs. practice, so the balance has been just right for me. I can definitely recommend his classes to anyone that would like to learn to play the guitar.

I have been playing guitar for many years, and wanted to learn more about theory, using both keyboard and guitar. Michael asked me how much I already knew and went through the basics in a way that was logical and flowing, at a pace that was right for me. He has a very good understanding of talking about theoretical concepts in a way I can relate to, and was patient when I asked him questions. Highly recommended to all!

Michael is a patient, empathic and attentive teacher. I did some guitar classes with him and he was able to understand my strengths and give me advice on what I was doing right and wrong, always with a great deal of respect.
