Mersea Island Watersports

My husband and I have just had a one hour kayak lesson. Paul was our instructor. The whole experience was excellent: from fantastic tuition from Paul who offered up a lot of local knowledge as a bonus; to a perfectly organised set up that made us feel relaxed and confident and an enjoyable experience. Just finished the paddleboard starter lesson and it was fantastic. Great lesson and an excellent instructor. I was nervous about doing this, mainly because of my size but didn't need to be. I will absolutely use Mersea Island Watersports again!

Had a great time canoeing round the creeks. Hired a double sit on top canoe and spent a magical couple of hours padding round the harbour and creeks spotting wildlife. The team are also very kind as we arrived late after a nightmare journey. They were understanding and helped us relax into a great afternoon on the coast. Thanks 🙏 Definitely recommend this to anyone heading to Mersea which is a jewel on the Essex coast.

A fantastic experience. Friendly staff, and very quick service which meant we were in the water 20 mins early. They asked the right safety question about my young son's ability and strength too - always reassuring. We thoroughly recommend them - and we'll definitely be back!

We were first time visitors to 'Mersea Island WaterSports' today, and cannot praise them highly enough! Customer service is 5*. Very personable and professional. We phoned and booked same day. Really good with their set up and lay out - social distancing, lots of cleaning and disinfecting of life jackets! The children were thrilled with today, we will definitely be returning to wind surf in a few weeks time for a birthday. A lovely business with loads to offer 👌👌
